Is LiveOps a scam?

I am currently an independent contractor with LiveOps.  I understand the struggle to find legit work from home jobs and I am writing this article to help others.  So, here is my take on LiveOps...

First thing to note is that with LiveOps you are an independent contractor which means that you do not work for them which means that the pay is not guaranteed.  I shall repeat this so we can all soak this statement in.  THE PAY IS NOT NOT NOT GUARANTEED.   With that being said, lets go to the beginning of my journey.

Okay, so I applied with LiveOps after being semi-fired from West At Home (which is another story), and around four or five days later, my application was accepted.  This initially suprised me due to the fact that other work at home companies such as alpine access, west, and working solutions took a lot longer to accept my application.  So, I submitted the necessary amount for the background check which was I believe, fifty dollars?  I could be wrong.  Then I started training.  UGH.

Training with LiveOps was my first major issue with them.  It is extensive and not one second of your time is paid for.  Unlike other work from home companies, it is completely paid for. I received 100 dollars for training for west at home that wasn't even half way completed.  So this was frustrating to me as the training took three - four days to complete.  And this was me being extremely diligent because I needed money.  For someone else it could have easily took seven to ten days.

Eventually, I was all completed with training and was required to take fifteen "training" calls.  This was great!  There was always green slots which meant time available for me train.  These calls went smoothly and I completed the fifteen calls in 4 working slots which translates to two hours of working time.  Then, this is where things start being rocky.  After I received confirmation that I successfully completed those calls, I happily go the schedule to begin my official work....

Which brings me to my last and final problem with LiveOps.  There are no hours.  I WISH I would have known this before I became hired by them because I would have not even accepted it. I've wasted money, time, and energy with LiveOps.  When adding the background check fee, monthly landline phone bill, internet bill (It has to be hardwired), and the lack of available work - you end up with a pretty fine deficit.  What makes me so sad is that I needed this job badly and I did extensive research throughout every Work At Home Mom Forum and various blogs but they failed to tell me this (mainly due to the outdated nature of their post)

All in all, technically LiveOps is a scam.  The most green I ever see on the schedule is from 2am -3am on the Fourth of July.  And that is IT.  I was more than willing to accept the fact that you have work your way up to get more hours but how can you do that if there are no hours to begin with?  Stay far away from LiveOps.  I wish this article was around when I was researching the company so hopefully I can help someone from this article.

Heirs Episode 5 Korean Drama Review!!!

***WARNING THIS IS A REVIEW NOT A RECAP***

Ahhhhh Heirs, how I love thee.  Although this episode had many, many, many cliches (mainly between Kim Tan and Eun Sang) something about this drama has me hooked.  There were a couple of things that agitated me though:

1. Kim Tan revealing himself as the son of Jesouk group towards the end of the episode.  Like seriously? This is something that was prolonged and took up a good chunk of time.  This could have easily been resolved the beginning of the episode and maybe we could have got more Young Do and Eun Sang interaction smh.

2. Eun Sang's over emotional response to Kim Tan telling her that they live together.  I thought of many reasons why one would be THAT upset in this situation but could not come up with any valid reason.  I was very confused and super annoyed.  This situation stayed up WAY past its bed time.

3. This isn't something that annoyed me persay it's just that Kim Tan turned into a completely
different person this episode with his interations with Eun Sang.  For example when he was trying to get her number and came to the coffee shop, It was giving me Joo Won and Gil Ra Im from Secret Garden WAY TOO MUCH.

4. The cliche battle at the end of the episode where Eun Sang is not paying attention and walks right in between Kim Tan and Young Do... Like really?  Did you NOT see everybody run towards that direction, and fill in the blanks that Kim Tan was gonna go to your school and did you not notice that it was suuuuuuuuuper quiet besides two guys talking and that there was a massive CIRCLE AHHHHHHHHGURHHHHHHHKLAJOEIRJENLGFEKFN!!!! Stuff like that guys, seriously!  Things that would NEVER happen.  But this is a korean drama...

Okay now to the fun part! What I really enjoyed about this episode:

1. Manager Yoon.  I love how he is real and not a typical uppity employee of the wealthy like we see in korean dramas.  He keeps it real and I really enjoy his scenes.  I also love the love triangle between him, Rachel's mother, and Young Do's dad.  Some people think it's overwhelming but I LOVE IT.  It adds another interesting sub plot to the already interesting plot.  I ship them so hard.  Do I smell an affair?

2. I adore Lee Min Ho's outfits!  Some people went in on him because of his sweaters but personally, I adore vintage fashion so I was all for it!  It reminded me of his stylish wardrobe in Personal Taste.  I adore it.  I adore it.  I adore it.  Super Stylish Senior Citizen is what these clothes give me.

3.  Kim Tan chasing Eun Sang around trying to get her number and to get her to talk to him.  This was included in my above list I am aware but as much as I rationally dislike the repition of character traits in this writers male leads - I really love it!  I can't help but giggle like a four year old when he is playfully teasing her and following her around.

4. When Chan Young tried Bo Na with “Is it G.O.D’s ‘Lie’? Big Bang’s ‘Lie’? T-ara’s ‘Lie’?”  That made me laugh. out. loud.

5. I've always loved the concept of a whole bunch of rich kids going to one school.  Books like gossip girl and shows like 90210 were barely filling this void until I stumbled upon my first drama Hana Yori Dango... And as much as people say it is cliche with the whole rich students, rich families, rich future and poor students, poor families, poor future - I think it's interesting.  I am not from Korea or Asia so this is a foriegn and fairy tale concept to me.  In America, everyone can dream and believe that they too can accomplish the American Dream.  We have so many singers, athletes, writers, talk show hosts, actors, actresses, producers, directors, etc. who literally came from nothing and we look up to them while we tend to look down upon heirs and heiresses who don't make their own money such as Paris Hilton when she first came out.  We tend to judge people by actions and  not their background ( In American media).

6. And my absolute favorite thing about this episode is Young Do.  Kim Won Bin has such a unique look that I love just watching him when he comes on screen just because.  He also has amazing facial expressions and I can immediately tell his emotions just by looking at him. I love that.  He plays this role so well plus his character is so interesting.  With those high arched eyebrows and carefree smirk he was born to play bullies.  Not that I am complaining ;).  I really enjoy watching his infatuation with Eun Sang develop and I can not wait until I can watch what is going to unfold between him and Tan.  And OMG I love when he blocked her on his bike and she told him that he needed to move so she could go home and he said that out of this entire road you're telling me there is no where else you can walk to head home?  I love that - it literally made me laugh.  It's so true though.  So many times in dramas the girls say that and I say the same thing as Young Do in my head lol.

Love is love is love is love is feelang!!!!!!

Talk to you guys tomorrow night :D  Besos.

Revlon Photoready Foundation in Caramel Review

This foundation is a dime piece for me.  What's really funny is that I don't even use concealer with it and I usually have to use a LOT of concealer.  It does look great in photographs... I love it.  I can apply it with my hands or a brush it is that blendable.  It does not rub off on my papers or on shirts when I give people hugs.  This is my kind of makeup!  Until I get enough money to afford high quality makeup like MAC, this will be my go to foundation.  I got it for around twelve dollars from Walmart.  I recommend this foundation for anyone :) Check out my video on Youtube for a more detailed review!

Milani Jewel FX Nail Polish in Gem - Dupe!

Remember when Milani came out with their Jewel Fx line last year?  Yeah, I never jumped on the bandwagon.  Regretfully I am now just catching up with what I missed - and I would rather do this at an understandable price.  So, I found this unnamed nail polish at Rue 21 the other week (Why do they not name their polishes?!?!!?) and it looks just like the Milani Fx nail polish in gem which I used a multitude of times before.  What do you guys think?

Rue 21 Beaute! Nail Polish Review (Shade 28)

So the other day I went to Rue 21 to spend some of my Christmas gift card and right when I was about to check out - I saw this tray full of a variety of various beautiful nail polishes   Then, I looked down and saw that it was only two for five dollars (the usual price being $4 each) so I gave in to my ever growing obsession of collecting nail polish that I tend to not use.  *sigh*

Lately I've been adoring the elegant style of the women of the 1920's and 1950's.  I know they usually wore red nail polish but guys I am so red-nail-polished-out from the popularity of it when I was elementary school that I didn't have the nerve to repress these memories.
Please excuse my sloppiness!  This nail polish was surprisingly beautiful!  It is so natural looking yet it is not flesh colored or completely transparent.  In the light it has a lilac coloring with sand brown undertones.  I really want to paint my room this color now.  So if anyone is around my skin tone (Mac NC45) and want an elegant slightly nude daily nail polish - this is it!  I only applied one coat of it and it went on soooooooo smoothly! It dried quickly as well.  So far no chipping and it is pretty opaque for just one coat.  I will definitely be buying more of their nail polishes again :)

And would it seriously kill them to name their polishes?!!?! Gahhh!!!

Maybelline Dream Fresh 8 in 1 BB Cream Review in Caramel

So this post is covering my experience of using the Maybelline Dream Fresh 8 in 1 BB Cream in Caramel.  I got it from Walmart for about $8 or $9 i think?

And it is great however it is not for me.  This is a BB cream which means that it is a tinted moisturizer except with skin healing properties which it most likely doesn't have considering the price.  It is a good product if you want little to no coverage and you are headed to the beach or something like that.  It doesn't rub off easily, however where me and the product did not see eye to eye with is the fact that it had no sort of concealing properties at all.  That was my only problem because without concealer I look sleepy! haha.  Here I added the video I made reviewing the product on Youtube.

How I Got Rid of My Oily Skin (Clean & Clear Morning Burst Review)

How I Got Rid of My Oily Skin (Unintentionally)

I used to have oily skin up until about a year or two ago.  It really did just disappear! Now I have normal to sometimes combination skin.  But before I say how, I just want you guys to know that oily skin is now so beautiful to me.  It automatically gives off the sexy carefree vibe to the world - especially here in Florida where I live.  Think Jennifer Lopez's face from I'm Into You (beach scene) - it was truly flawless in my opinion.  And I'm sure she spent a good 20 minutes while her makeup artist (Mary Phillips) painted her face just to get this look... so oily skinned girls - embrace it!

Anyways, I got rid of my oily skin by using Clean & Clear Morning Burst Shine Control Facial Cleanser - Oil Free with bursting beads.  It's the green bottle...

I know it sounds too good to be true at around seven dollars but it really did work. I was using it on a daily basis for months maybe a year.  And now I've stopped using it for about a year and my skin is still normal.  It might just be my skin's reaction to it but there is still a chance that your skin could react the same way as mine.
